Several airlines canceled flights to Bali because of the eruption of the volcano

Several airlines, including Australian Qantas, Virgin Austalia and Hong Kong's Cathay pacific canceled flights to the island of Bali because of the volcanic eruption. This is evidenced by the Sunday data of the international airport in the city of Denpasar.

According to TASS, the administration of the air harbor emphasizes that at this time the airport operates in a normal mode. Decisions on cancellation or rescheduling are accepted exclusively by airlines. 

According to the national Agency for the Prevention of Natural Disasters, the change in the timetable has already touched more than 2 thousand people, mostly tourists who are forced to stay at the airport of Denpasar.
 
The agency reported on November 25 about a new eruption of the volcano, located on the highest mountain Agung. The ash column reached a height of 1.5 km. Local residents, located within a radius of 7.5 km from the mountain, it was ordered to be urgently evacuated.
 
Earlier, the official representative of this agency Sutopo Nugroho stressed that the main directions of the island, Kuta, Nusa Dua, and the administrative center of Denpasar will not suffer even in case of an eruption.
 
The last eruption of this volcano was recorded in 1963, as a result of which more than 1,5 thousand people died, about 100 thousand lost their homes. The world's largest Indonesian archipelago, consisting of 18 thousand islands, is located in the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire, therefore, tectonic disasters occur here on average 5-6 times a day. In total, there are more than 500 volcanoes, of which 127 are active.
