These are possible consequences of the unstable political situation, according to the forecasts of the official representative of Catalonia tourism, Patrick Torrent. This is cited by the agency "France Press" on November 7.
According to the expert, most of the cuts will be for business trips and MICE-tourism. Nevertheless, Torrent is optimistic about the future, because earlier, after the terrorist attack in Barcelona, the influx of tourists declined for a very short time.
In November, Barcelona chose far fewer tourists than a year ago. But Madrid was booked 1.5-2 times more actively.
