The Schengen visa will change the appearance
The Council of the European Union decided to change the design of the Schengen visa in order to strengthen its protection against counterfeits. This is stated in the message on the website of the Council of the EU.
The rule sets a new general design for a visa sticker to increase security. The report notes that the current design, which has been in circulation for 20 years, has been compromised by serious incidents of counterfeiting and fraud.
The document on the entry into force of the new rules is planned to be signed in July.
