Onion on a leaf

Under a film cover on solar heating, onions on a leaf can be cultivated in the middle lane, depending on the weather, in the first or second decade of April. The onions are laid out on moist and loose soil, which has been processed since autumn and warmed up under a film, with 1 cm between the ducks between the bulbs, and then covered with earth with a layer of 1-1.5 cm on top.

Onions on greens in the middle lane are also planted in the autumn (in September, October). After the snow cover disappears, frames are placed on the planted areas in the spring of next year and covered with a film. Autumn planting of onions allows you to get harvests earlier by 10-15 days against the spring.

Watering onions begins when the air temperature under the film rises to 15-17C, combining them with fertilizing with ammonium nitrate, a dose of 25-30 g per 10 liters of water, it is designed for 2-3 m2 of planting area.

After harvesting the onions, cucumbers or tomatoes are planted on the vacated area.

Salad

Lettuce is grown on the area prepared and fertilized since autumn by sowing seeds to a permanent place or seedlings. Sowing is carried out randomly, but more often in four to five rows with row spacing of 8-10 cm. To obtain an early salad, it can be sown before winter or early spring on ridges prepared in the fall. Seedlings of lettuce for early planting are grown in distribution greenhouses or warm greenhouses. The temperature before germination is maintained at 20-22C, and then, in low light, no higher than 12C; at the age of 30-40 days with three to four true leaves, seedlings are planted 6X6 cm in a permanent place. After planting the seedlings, the temperature is brought on sunny days to 20-25C, with mandatory ventilation, on cloudy days 15-16C during the day and 12-14C at night.

The salad is watered very sparingly, since with an excess of moisture, the plants are easily affected by fungal diseases.

10-12 days after planting, the plants are fed with a 0.5% solution of nitrogen-potassium fertilizers.

The readiness of the salad for harvesting occurs in 20-40 days, depending on the sowing time, planting and the age of the seedlings. The salad is not watered before harvesting, as wet leaves quickly warm up and rot. When harvesting, there should be no condensed moisture on the leaves. The lettuce yield when grown in the first crop and when harvested with seven to ten leaves reaches 2 kg / m2. With a later culture, lettuce is cultivated by sowing seeds in rows every 8 cm in an amount of 1.0-1.5 g / m2.

Mainly grown is the Moscow Greenhouse variety, which does not form a head of cabbage and gives well-developed leaves. Cabbage salads of Bettiera, Khrustalny and Berlin yellow varieties are also cultivated.

Cabbage salad

This crop is grown as seedlings in nursery greenhouses in peat pots or cubes for 25 days. Seedlings are planted in a permanent place in the middle lane in the second half of May, without deepening the pots, so that about 1/3 of it remains on the surface of the soil. The Romaine lettuce, which has loose oval-shaped heads of cabbage, is also cultivated in the fall. In this case, its seeds are sown in the first decade of July so that the head of cabbage can form in a period of sufficient light.

Radish

In the middle lane, it can be grown under film shelters on solar heating, starting from the first decade of April. After warming up under the film, the soil treated since autumn is dug up, humus or a mixture of sod land with feathers (1: 2) is added and leveled with a rake. During the period of root crop formation, radishes are fed with liquid mineral fertilizers at the rate of 5 g of ammonium nitrate and 10-20 g of potassium chloride per 10 liters of water.

It is better to sow radish seeds calibrated, naklyuchnuyu, according to the scheme 4X25X50 cm in two-line ribbons at the rate of 3-4 g / m2, embedding them to a depth of 0.5-1 cm

The best varieties for film structures were recognized: Zarya, Teplichny, Saksa, Hybrid NIIOKh, early Krasny TSKHA, Rubin, Zhara. Before the shoots, the temperature is maintained at 20C, when they appear, it is reduced by three to four days to 6-8C, then it is increased until the end of harvesting in the daytime to 15-18C and at night to 8-10C. At this temperature, the radish does not stretch. It is very important to maintain high soil moisture, especially during the formation of true leaves and the formation of root crops. During the formation of a root crop, radishes are fed with liquid mineral fertilizers at the rate of 5 g of ammonium nitrate and 10-12 g of potassium chloride per 10 liters of water. For harvesting radishes in October, seeds are sown in mid-August. At the same time, in addition to early varieties, the Dungansky variety with a feeding area of 10X 10 cm is used.

Dill

It is distinguished by slow seed germination (seed germination of the first class is 60%). Therefore, the seeds are soaked for two to three days. Seeding rate - 30 g / m2 - The temperature after the emergence of shoots is reduced from 20-25 to 10-120C and after a few days it is increased to 14-16 "C. Dill is rarely watered, but the soil is deeply soaked.

When growing, dill in a compaction with radish, the seeding rate is halved, sowing it randomly over the entire area of the greenhouse, and radish - in rows every 8 cm.First, the radish is removed, and then the dill, when it grows up to 10-15 cm. Thermal regime support for radish.

If one dill is grown, then it is harvested when the plants reach a height of 15-25 cm.

In an autumn culture, dill is sown under film shelters on solar heating.
